New car!

After using a lent Land Rover Jeep for the past 3 years we have been asked to give it back. We were able though to trade our blue toyota 4runner for this 96 Discovery. It has the same suspension as the Land Rover jeep we used. It was a miracle to find such a car in great condition and that would take in our blue car. It has a 2.5 diesel engine, is constant 4X4 and can seat 7.

Settled Down

After a busy month moving to the small rural village we are living in, life is slowly getting back to normal. We are trying to slow things down as being closer to the rural communitees we serve at has brought on a new load of work. The boys have adapted well to their new surroundings and are enjoying it here. We have already received a small group of short term missionaries from the Salvation Express and also my parents and one of Telma's brothers. This week the Brazilian Bible Society will be coming to distribute around 2000 Sandals to kids in the rural schools we serve, a huge blessing! Thanks for your prayers!

On the move!

Once again it has been a while since our last blog! HAHAHAHAHA! Heard that one before! Anyways since it we have not only been busy with Bible studies in the rural communitees and building pit latrines but also moving our home and missionary base to the rural area to a village called Little Lake. It is located about 30 kilometers from the town we used to live in. It is part of a town called Berilo (Beryl). The move will make us more present in the rural communitees we are ministering in and help futher develope the primitive churches that start to appear. We managed to rent a old supermarket building to serve as our home and an old tavern to serve as our missionary base. The boys study in a small public school in front of our home and we get water pumped to us once a week! HAHAHAHA! Many small adjustments ahead! We are all very happy with the new surroundings and are excited with all God is doing and we are able to take a part in.
